Tradeskills in Age of Conan begin at Level 40. In order to select a trade you may speak with any trainer in the Resource Zones, which are: Laceish Plains, Poitain, and Purple Lotus Swamp. |

Resource Gathering (or Harvesting) can be started at Level 20. Your harvesting skill relates to your level. If Tier 1 harvesting is complete then you cannot train Tier 2 until you reach a certain PvE level. Gemcutter and Alchemist resources are not harvested in the same means as the other Crafting Professions. Gems and alchemy components drop from level 40+ NPCs. In addition, leather and weaving resources also drop from NPCs. |

In addition to standard crafting in Age of Conan, players can build structures within their guild cities. A guild city is a major commitment, requiring a massive investment of blood and treasure to create and maintain. With a great price comes a great reward, as the benefits for owning one extend beyond lording over your greatness to one and all. In addition to power and prestige, there are concrete benefits to land ownership in Age of Conan. |

Since writing Stranger in a PvP Land much adventure has come my way. I finally left Tortage at the ripe old age of 23. My PvP kill count is still 2, but my death count is rising by leaps and bounds. Upon entering Khopshef Province I was welcomed to the big leagues by a level 73 whom casually rode up and smoked me. |

I'm a PvE player. Always have been, thought I always would be. Afterall, I'm a very good one, certainly better than you. However, after much prompting from a number of goobers, I decided to take the path most chosen and give PvP a shot in Age of Conan. I had never killed another player. That's not to say I have never wanted to kill another player, I've just never felt the need to play a game in a constant state of stress.
